Summer wine to watch

By August 5, 2015News

Sauvignon Blanc is the flagship grape and the most well-known of New Zealand, and is typically a very crisp aromatic wine with notes of grapefruit, tropical fruit and cut grass. These wines of New Zealand tend to be slightly sweeter than those from the traditional growing parts of France, and are hugely influenced by the conditions of the country which gives it that unmistakable smell and taste. Our Fernlands Sauvignon Blanc is no exception and for the long summer days it is the perfect accompaniment to our lighter salads and fish dishes, and of course to enjoy on its own. We feature this wine by the bottle and by the glass so there is no excuse not to enjoy over the coming months.
