It’s FriYAY at The Dog we have the cocktails flowing!

We’re kick starting the weekend with one of our favourite cocktail pick me up’s, an espresso martini.  It’s the perfect, it’s too late for coffee, but too early for a drink cocktail. Full of coffee bean flavour with a hint of sweetness.

Ingredients: 

  • 100ml vodka
  • 50ml freshly brewed espresso coffee
  • 50ml coffee liqueur – This can be Kahula, Tia Maria or Baileys if you prefer it to be creamy
  • 4 coffee beans to finish on top.

Method:

Grab your cocktail shaker and a handful of ice, your 100ml of vodka, espresso and coffee liqueur. Shake until the outside of the cocktail shaker feels icy cold.

Strain into the chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with coffee beans.
